Prepare your Rangoli Design at home and bring it to the event to enter the contest.

Each person can submit only one entry.

Design Material & Techniques: Please note the following rules regarding design, material and techniques:(Any entry does not meet the following criteria will NOT be accepted).

Paper Size: Maximum paper size limit is 11 in X 14 in.

Paper Quality: use Mix Media, which is good for watercolor/Pen/Pencils/Acrylic.

Media: Water color paints, acrylic paints, pastels, crayons, color pencils and color sand

Technique: All Rangoli Designs must be the contestant's hand-done creation representing traditional rangoli theme.

Submission of entries:

• Write your full name in capital letters, address and phone number on the back of the design
• Submit Rangoli design at the Art & Rangoli Registration desk on the day of the event
• Submission Time: 12-2:30pm
• At the end of the event, your design can be collected at BARC booth (after 6pm).

Not Acceptable Media/Technique:

• Photographs, computer-generated designs and pre-printed sketch/tracing
• Stencils, numbers or design elements
• Permanent markers, oil paints
• Black background
• Your name or signature on the front of the design.

Judging Criteria: Judging will be done by 2 or more independent judges.

Evaluated based on :Design

• Presentation (colors, neatness, Rangoli theme )
• Overall quality and technique
Please note that Judges Decision will be final.

Prizes: All winning artists will receive a certificate and trophy on the stage.

• There will be 3 prizes (1st, 2nd & 3rd)


• There will be a special prize (trophy) for visiting parents.
• Special Needs Category: There will be a special needs category if at least one entry is received from special needs person. Please mention at the registration desk if the entry should be considered under special needs category.
