Raising Star Program

Raising Star program has been offered to Bighelp Youth Group members who made significant positive impact to the organization through their voluntary service and fundraising initiatives. Raising Star award will be presented to an individual youth member based on their total community service hours and total funds raised on their own for Bighelp to help underprivileged children to continue their schooling.

To participate in our Raising Star program, the only qualification necessary is to have done an independent action that benefits the Big Help community. In order to be nominated, a member of the Big Help staff must decide if the youth has the requirements of outstanding time and effort, or another worthy qualification. To be eligible to receive such an award, the nominee has to be a youth member, who is under the age of 18. The decision of whether or not a Youth Member should receive an award is decided by a panel of Big Help judges.

Raising Star awards are presented to Youth Members at annual Big Help functions hosted in the local area of the recipient. If a Youth member is aspiring to receive an award, it may be beneficial to keep an account of the time/money or other donation for review by the judge panel.
