Bighelp sponsored Srinivasa Rao when he was studying 8th class in 2008. At the beginning he was an average student but financially very poor and about to discontinue his studies. Bighelp project committee working in his village determined that Srinivas would be benefited if they provide him the necessary guidance and make him focus on his studies by sponsoring his education under sponsor-a-child program. There after they took all necessary steps to improve his caliber. All the sincere efforts and hard work of our project committee has paid off when they see Srinivas achieve 1st rank in Konijerla Mandal (Khammam District, Andhr Pradesh) by scoring 550 marks in S.S.C (10th class) public examination during the academic year 2009-10. Donors are more proud than anyone, they deserve a big accolade and the Srinivas owe them a debt of gratitude.

| Srinivasa Rao got the admission in IIIT |

Srinivasa Rao Pamarthi has completed 10th class with the support of above donors at Bighelp and got admission in IIIT (International Institute of Information Technologies) in Basara, one of the prestigious educational institutes of India. This autonomous Institution is specialized in teaching and research in Information Technology and other emerging disciplines.
The admission in to this institution is on merit basis and the children from the rural areas are given preference. Eighty-five per cent of seats are allocated to the candidates who studied in schools that are located in rural villages. In both the rural and state-wide categories, 70 percent of seats are allocated to students who studied in the Governement schools. Since Bighelp activities are mainly focused in rural areas, Bighelp is able to send at least 2 to 3 students to IIIT every year.
Bighelp Project Committee recommended to continue the sponsorship of Srinivasa Rao in IIIT based on his previous track record.
